High Energy Plasma Aliens, also called Electro-Aliens, are alien enemies made of irregular forms of plasma. They are not very tough, but the plasma bursts they fire cause a lot of damage. Plasma Aliens can either lurk on their own or instead spawn infinitely from generators. Killing Plasma Aliens does not count towards the "enemy destroyed" percentage.
On higher difficulties, Plasma Aliens are one of the deadliest enemies in the game, capable of killing the player in a single volley. Therefore approaching or transiting rooms with generators should be done with extreme caution and only with full health, whenever possible.
