The Mutated Guard, also called Gurney Mutant, is a mutant enemy that appears in both Blake Stone games. It has blue skin, a bloodstained uniform, pointed ears, and glowing red eyes. It appears vaguely human and is perhaps a result of the scientists' experiments to create a new mutant.
Mutated Guards are sometimes encountered in an inactive state on tables (gurneys). Firing weapons awakens some of the guards on the tables, although not all inactive guards have the ability to become active.
The Mutated Guards carry the Slow Fire Protector, but can still be very dangerous, especially at close range.
